My husband and i thought a halloween costume celebration might be a blast this time. He felt it’d be fun to bring the youngsters around the neighborhood to trick or treat donning a star trek next generation costume. However, he had what he calls a good idea. Half the decoration were ordered earlier than any person got their invitation. He’s also got the children all wound up about it. It is looking like our own little star trek fan conference. I tried to inform him there was no rush. It’s still over a month to get ready this Hallowe’en party. However he’s simply too anxious to get commenced. So, we’ve been looking at shops and on-line for all his star trek the movie decoration and party supply. We located quite a few get ups to wear at star trek party. We’ve all been preparing for trick or treaters this halloween. I got lots of new decorations this year. Our whole family is excited about halloween this year. He tends to go overboard when it comes to halloween. He sets up the front yard with all kinds of scarry creatures. Sound effects have been added this time to make it spookier. He’s really getting a kick out of planning this halloween. The boys are lending dear old dad a hand in the decorations and electrical operations. Every time they leave the house they come back with even more decorations. Where he plans on putting it all is beyond me. He was also talking about setting up a little haunted house thing, but I put a stop to that. We have Christmas coming soon and we can’t spend so much on just the one holiday.
So, I couldn’t let him go crazy on spending. While browsing through the internet he ran across a store that had lots of inexpensive items to choose from for halloween. This was a pretty cool halloween supply store he ran across. I liked the props and decorations so much I gave him the go ahead to order them. The fog juice he ordered is really neat. It really adds to the scary ambiance already in progress. I also conceded to the dropping zombie guy he wanted. It’s really pretty neat. He’s going to hang it just above the archway on our porch. Added to that is a voice changer and a hand that crawls to set right next to our candy dish. I thought I should check out this site and see if I could find some kids and halloween baby costumes too. There were all kinds for all ages and not very expensive I might add. You could find several newborn baby costumes and others for every age group. Since we have an infant, a toddler and two older boys, I thought this would be a great place to get the outfits for halloween. I looked through the baby bunting costumes for my youngest and found quite a few choices of costumes for babies. I liked the hot dog baby bunting costume quite a lot. The boys got to choose their costumes on their own this time. Wolverine was the character costume that David chose. Our oldest decided to pick one of the movie character costumes and chose Beetlejuice. I kids were asking us to don costumes this year too. That didn’t exactly sound too good to me, at first. I had to think about that for a while even though it sounded like a blast. We decided to at least view the collection of adult halloween costumes they had to offer. It’s hard to believe its almost time for Halloween. I tried my little daughters’ toddler costume on her yesterday and it doesn’t fit her anymore. It was time to shop for a new one for this trick or treat holiday. I didn’t care too much for the costumes I found at the local stores. I’m a very picky person and when I’m buying something it has to practically jump out at me before I’ll buy it. I tried the little costume shop downtown that a friend suggested. My husband did want to get a few things for the front yard. So, we opted for a few grave markers and ghostly props. So, with all the decorations, props and her cute little costume for a toddler selection, we did pretty good for halloween. Everything arrived in a short time, just like they promised it would. Our little toddler was adorable in her Halloween witch costume. The yard looked so cool with all the decorations my husband put up. He really enjoyed decorating our house and front yard with all the Halloween décor we ordered. This year Halloween will be spectacular.
